sticks and stones...

these last few weeks have been intense. Both Rosebud and Winnie found the BEST homes! We are so happy for them, despite all it took to get them to this point!
Sometimes this rescue thing gets so frustrating. we work for HOURs taking pictures, making posters and trying to network these dogs to get them out and sometimes we get nothing but shit from people and rescues. Everybody has something to say. Whatever happened to the ol' golden rule we all learned when younger. Are those days gone?! I know there are good people out there. People that have helped us beyond their means, and people that have helped the dogs, so why is it sometimes this negative cloud floating infront of this sunshine of all that is done. I guess it is just staying focused on the goal and somehow finding it in ourselves not to listen or be around this negative energy cloud.

We have alot to do this week. Sometimes it seems neverending. and it is...We are going to take a break from posters for a few days and focus on oldshepstudios.com
we have to make money and start working on our book. the dogs and us need money. We will let you know when it is up and running. Until then .... be someone's sunshine today. give a smile or hug and say something nice. Wag a tail, not a harsh tongue!
