This is...was Baby Dane. I finally developed the film, after months. I loved him, but he didn't make it, he was going to be my own. It still hurts.

I am so sorry... I know exactly how horribly hard it is... I suffered a similar loss with a kitten rescued at four weeks, a couple of months ago.
They are so young, so innocent, have such energy and find the fun in every single little thing... it is so unfair that they should be robbed of a chance to be loved, so young.

Thanks Nini...healing thoughts to you as well. It is never easy losing a little one. I thought maybe I would get better at dealing with deaths, being at the shetler so much and all. But still...I cry.
